Destination by Design, the National Park Service, City of Lenoir, Caldwell County, and Burke Country receive an Outstanding Planning Award for the development of the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail Master Plan from Lenoir to Morganton.
The award category, Multidisciplinary Project, celebrates DbD’s variety of roles throughout the planning process, which includes planning, landscape architecture, graphic design, branding, web development, landowner outreach, and video production. DbD continues to work with the National Park Service across North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and South Carolina to develop other segment plans for the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail.
