Exciting times in the City of Shelby, NC as the launch of the Carolina Harmony Trail is underway. This 12 mile rail trail will ultimately extend to the South Carolina line.
For now, the DbD team is focused on trail design and development within the downtown core. We’ve used branding and facility design to ensure the trail is distinguished yet complimentary to other regional trails, while striving to create a vibrant, green spine within the city’s urban setting.

On the horizon, our team is through 60% construction documents for the restoration of rails historic depot (future restaurant/pub) and surrounding grounds that will feature a stage, shelters, splash pad, playground, and restroom. So stay tuned for more great stuff in 2024 and beyond.
